"THINGS TO DO - FUN FOR ALL AGES"

    Things to do!

We are located about 10 minutes from Dorset, a picturesque and welcoming small town that offers everything you need during your stay.

Visit Robinson’s General Store, a local favourite that combines grocery, hardware, souvenirs, and a traditional trading post all in one. Explore nearby restaurants, shops, and art galleries, all eager to welcome visitors.

Enjoy a scenic cruise across the calm waters of Lake of Bays aboard the historic SS Bigwin, departing from the base of the bridge. Discover local history at the Dorset Museum, or take in breathtaking views from the Dorset Tower, a 100-foot climb offering panoramic sights of Lake of Bays and its beautiful shoreline.

For outdoor adventure, enjoy hiking, swimming, or canoeing at the well-known Frost Centre next door, or explore Echo Valley Nature & Bike Trails in nearby Dwight.

In the fall, the surrounding landscape transforms into a breathtaking display of vibrant, multi-coloured foliage along the scenic Route 35—a truly spectacular sight not to be missed.

In winter, our abundant snowfall provides excellent conditions for enjoying the well-groomed Tall Pine Snowmobile Club trails, located just half a mile north of the property.

Our countryside location is also ideal for wildlife viewing, with frequent sightings of moose, deer, bear, and other small animals. Birdwatchers will appreciate the variety of local species, including pileated woodpeckers, kingfishers, and osprey, all of which nest nearby.

All of this combines to create a truly memorable outdoor experience in every season.

In the evening you can listen to the crackling of a campfire and gaze at the mantle of stars above. The excitement you encounter here will truly make your vacation the most memorable one of all. We are centralized to many Muskoka attractions; throughout the region, there is always a festival or event taking place.  Lots of things to do.
